BETA FOUNDATION API Launches on Monday
After much wait and anticipation – WE ARE FINALLY ROLLING ONWARDS TO
THE NEXT STEP. The BETA version of the Foundation API launches on Monday, June
25th, 2001 18:30 hours UTC (GMT). We require all the help we can get for the
BETA Testing in order to complete a successful rollout by June 30th.

All Resellers who have COMPLETED THEIR LEGAL FORMALITIES will be issued separate
individual Access to the BETA interface which will look and feel almost like the
live interface, and have all the features and functionality required in the live
interface. You will be able to register, order, provision Domain Names, and
modify the interface to look and feel like your web site including pointing your
Domain Name to it. You will be able to put your logo, and modify some of the
colours of the interface. You will be able to test the Reseller interface, the
Owner interface (end Customer), the Account Manager Interface.

End customers will be able to directly visit your web site and register Domain
Names through your web site, and they will appear in your unprovisioned orders
list for you to provision.

The Interface documentation will be put up online today (Saturday, June 23rd,
2001 18:30 UTC (GMT)) and you will have until Monday to learn the ropes by
reading the documentation. The documentation will be available at http://kb.foundation.directi.com/.
We will post a announcement as soon as it happens.

For those of you who havent completed their legal formalities we may assign one
common demo login. You will not be able to test independent aspects of the
system. You may end up getting confused since other Resellers who have not
completed their formalities will use the same demo account and add their orders
to it too. Once again I urge those of you who have not completed their legal
formalities to finish them as fast as possible in order to be able to test the
interface exclusively and understand how it works.

Verisign and Thawte
Certificates
We are pleased to announce the completion of our tieup with Verisign and
Thawte to resell their Certificates through our Foundation API. We will be the
first company to offer completely customisable Verisign and Thawte Certificate
enrollment forms. End customers will be able to signup for the entire
certificate from YOUR web site and pick up the certificate from your web site
too. Tentative pricing for Verisign certificates is likely to be 25% OFF the
Verisign retail pricing. We will be exclusively offering this pricing through
our Reseller channel. No other service provider can compete with us based on
this pricing.

The Signup and Legal Kits for Verisign and Thawte Certificates will be put up
sometime mid-next week. We are trying to put up the Marketing information and
pricing information for the same by this weekend.

.BIZ Launch Timelines
As previously announced the .BIZ Registry has stretched its IP Claim Period to
Aug 6th. They will start accepting Domain Name Applications from June 25th,
however these applications will not be processed until Sept 25th. On Aug 6th
they will begin matching these applications with their IP Claim database and
send out notifications to the Applicants if they are infringing any IP Claim.
However the Domains will be registered only from Sept 25th. All applications
submitted before Aug 6th do not really have any additional purpose. They may
as well be submitted on Aug 6th itself. We will start accepting .BIZ
Applications from roughly 1st week of July. To find out more details about

.INFO Launch Timelines
As previously announced the .INFO Registry has delayed its Launch date to July
25th. They will start accepting Sunrise period applications from July 25th. We
will begin accepting applications for both the Sunrise and the Landrush period
